Trainings are on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, 19h at La Courneuve, the 7 a side team plays on tuesday evenings, and the 11 a side team on sunday afternoons.

Hello everybody

Some news about the incoming season.

The first 2 games will be the 7 and 14 September ! It’s very early in the season, we won’t have a complete preparation, but we have to be ready.
For this two game, we need all the ancient players to be there, have their licenses paid and signed by a doctor (not the one who check Thuram please).

Who will be there, who won’t be there ?

Also, we have a pitch problem : La courneuve is not available before the 6th September, so we have to find a real pitch to begin trainings.
All helps and ideas are welcomed to find a solution. If we don’t find a pitch, we will run around the "Perif"

Last year, we finished 8th, with 4 wins, 3 draw and 11 defeat, 21 goals in for 41 goals out.
The beginning was hard, but we improve our self, and when we played as a team, the results were better.

This year, We are in Group D, and there is 12 teams (instead of 10).

Review of the team :

Villetaneuse 2 : There was only one team last year, in our group. They finished 3rd, 10 wins, 1 draw and 6 defeat, 60 goals in for 41 goals out. We played two games against them, and lost 2-3 and 2-5. I hope this year we could beat them, because we play against the second team.

Fenetre Euro : They were in Group C, finished 7th on 8, and win only 2 games. We should have our chance.

Citestars Ol 2 : A good team, at our level i think. They finished 5th on the Group A.

Stains FC : 7th on 10 on the GroupD, they gave up 63 goals, win 3 time for 13 defeat. We will have our chance to score, and if we are commited, we will win.

Barbes FC 2 : The first team of Barbes win the GroupD. They don’t loose a game. It will be a great challenge, even if this is the second team.

Couronnes Ofc : An average team, 5th on 8 on the GroupC, an equal amount of goal in and out, it will be a strong game.

Pantin Ofc 2 : 9th on 10 on the GroupA, 1 win for 10 defeat, we have to put them behind us.

Sevran Acs : 5th on 10 on the GroupB, we played 2 games against them : we lose the first one 0-5, and we beat them 2-1 for the return. We have to repeat this kind of game to be ont the top of the league, but it won’t be easy.

Fl. Villepinte 2 : 3th on 10 in Group D, but it was the first team. They win 10 games, we have to be well prepared to fight and win.

Vaujours FC 2 : 7th on 10 in Group A, 4 wins for 12defeat. They will fight in the end of the league, we have to beat them. We will played in December, just before Christmas, i hope we will finished this first part on a winning strike.

Bagnolet Sc : 6 on 8 on Group C, 42 goals in, 47 out, it will be a tough game.

I think the podium will be shared between 4 teams : Barbes, Villepinte, Villetaneuse... and Paris Gaels !

As Gaels 7 lose in challenge game, the season is over.

Many good things happened this season, notably at times in defence. _ We finish 4th in A group championship and qualified as 8th out of 206 teams in challenge.
But we will have to work on our scoring abilities and mental fighting for the future.
Well done everyone for the effort !

Counting championship, cup and challenge games, we played 23 matches.

Gaels bow out of challenge in the most frustrating way.

After leading 3-0 Gaels had two other clear chances to make it 5.
But a weak back pass gave the ball to the opposition who scored their first goal seconds before half time.

After the break, and a change in the Gaels line-up, Inter Métèque unleashed an assault, scoring three goals in ten minutes.
Then they defended like hell and held on to the score.
Probably the worst game of the season for the Gaels who had done all the hard work.

Co-ordination with the opposing teams
And Liaison with the LEAGUE and the FFF
Defining the yearly programme/projects of the club

TREASURER :
Keeping the Club accounts up to date
Follow-up any disciplinary actions, fines,anti-sportive player _ comportment e.t.c

SOCIAL SECRETARY :
Organising extra-sportive events, like parties, dinners and the annual club trip.

LOGISTICS :
Managing the clubs equipments, and kits.
Booking the pitch for Sunday games

11 – a side COACH x 2 persons
organising Thursday training sessions, team selection and organisation on match days.

7 - side COACH & CAPTAIN
Assisting during Thursday night trainings and team selection for TUESDAY.

RECRUITEMENT officer + 2 persons :
Organising general recruitment strategy
Welcoming new & potential players
Managing adverts and announcements through out the season

WEBMASTER :
Maintain the website up to date, keep the link with ex-PG members, _ keep a statistics corner with (matches, goals, best players, events e.t.c)/
Create a weekly, brief match report.

The CHALLENGE group stage is over.

We qualify as 8th out of 206 teams.
Having conceded only two goals, we are the best defense.
Although our group was relatively easy (five victories of which two were forfait), it is still an achievement to our credit.
Some teams who were in our championship group didn’t even qualify... So well done to all that took part.

Now the hardest part begins with the knock-out stage.
We play the 1/16eme de finale TUESDAY 2nd on our home pitch.
